This morning at PPA we enjoyed learning how to create a painterly effect using soft touches of water colour to black and white photos that can be used in our travel journals. I experimented doing this some years ago when using a purely black and white printer! Just a few very soft colours are all that is needed to create a great picture against the black and white image. I used a Strathmore 400 Series Toned Tan Paper book with black covers (64 sheets) for my journal. There is also a cheaper spiral bound version.
